Words on Launching

I’ve seen many books include something like this, so I’ll just write a few words casually.

Although Da Long is a complete novice, this book was definitely not started on a whim.

I believe every seasoned reader has experienced this: imagining a novel and intriguing story in their mind, a story that continuously unfolds, yet unable to express it fully for various reasons.

Arcane Radiance was born precisely because of this. I mention this only to let everyone know that I have a complete story framework for this book. Sometimes, due to my limited writing skills, I may not fully convey it—that’s my fault, and I will strive to improve as I continue. Please give me your confidence and support.

Now, about the book itself—many readers often say the protagonist levels up too quickly and worry that I might struggle to write later on. I want to thank everyone for their concern and take this opportunity to explain.

First, the protagonist is an Arcanist, and the most captivating aspect of an Arcanist should be the exploration of countless worlds, the pursuit of knowledge, and the study of the unknown—not merely talent alone.

Second, speaking purely of talent, the best and worst purple talents differ by a factor of ten, while orange talents have no hierarchy but merely different focal points. Talents can be cultivated and enhanced, so even some intriguing blue talents have room for growth later on—for example, the impressively named “Ancient Overlord Body.” Moreover, these are merely mortal-level talents. So please don’t worry that I will lose track or run out of material to write about.

That’s about it. Regarding additional chapters, I’ve already mentioned the explanation earlier, so I won’t repeat it. As for any complaints about hardship, although I am indeed going through some tough times, I’ll skip over that here.
