Chapter 6: Li Xueli's Disappointment
Tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands...
Shi Wenjing felt as if her heart were about to leap out of her chest. Eighteen million in full? Was this young man actually a hidden heir to a fortune? She felt a wave of shock, followed by a surge of relief that she hadn't said anything rude earlier. Had she shown even the slightest bit of arrogance, this heaven-sent opportunity would have slipped through her fingers forever. Her breathing grew rapid.
"This car is decent, but I feel it still doesn't quite match my status," Chu Feng said, leaving her hanging.
"Then... then let me take you for a test drive in our latest model." Shi Wenjing intimately draped herself over Chu Feng’s arm, pressing against him deliberately. She swore to herself that she had to secure this big client at all costs. Seeing how young he was, she felt confident that with her charm, she could easily wrap him around her finger. With this in mind, she puffed out her chest, trying to make her allure all the more obvious.
Upon reaching the garage, Chu Feng spotted a car in the center and looked surprised. "A Cullinan? No... it’s a Ghost." He walked toward it.
"Yes, it’s a Ghost! Shall I show you the interior?" Shi Wenjing offered.
Chu Feng opened the car door and said, "After you," with a gentleman’s grace. Shi Wenjing climbed in, poked her head out to check the surroundings, and once she was sure no one was around, she pulled the door shut.
Chu Feng gently caressed the leather-wrapped steering wheel. "If I buy this car, what kind of 'included services' are we talking about?"
"Exactly as you imagine... look, the seat reclines, and with this latch here, you can turn the car seat into a bed." Her eyes shimmered like water as she pressed a switch, causing automatic mesh curtains to unfold across the windows.
"I see." Chu Feng lay back in the seat, feeling incredibly at ease.
"That is one of the advantages of this car. If you ever need a little nap while out and about, you can pull the curtains and enjoy a moment of peace." As she spoke, she leaned in close.

Half an hour later, Chu Feng stepped out of the car first. He adjusted his belt and stretched lazily. "Indeed, taking a nap in a car is quite the indulgence."
Shi Wenjing followed him out. She wiped her mouth with a tissue and asked, "I wonder if you are satisfied with the car, sir?"
"The car, I am very satisfied with! The person, I am also quite satisfied with!" Chu Feng suddenly recalled a passage from a middle school textbook: "In the capital, there lived a master of oral techniques..."
Seeing how pleased Chu Feng was, Shi Wenjing had no intention of letting him slip away. She fanned herself with the brochure in her hand and took the opportunity to undo the top button of her blouse. "It’s so hot today..." She assumed this would effortlessly capture his attention. In reality, Chu Feng had seen right through such ploys. She truly was a wicked woman, stopping at nothing to achieve her goals.
However, such a devious woman suited Chu Feng’s taste perfectly.
"Viewing it from the side, a range of peaks; from near or far, high or low, it appears different. The true face of Mount Lu is hidden from view, only because I am within the mountain itself..."
"Oh, Mr. Chu, you are incorrigible!" Shi Wenjing feigned modesty, covering the cleavage she had just revealed. It was quite the performance, though her tone sounded more like a coquettish, playful rebuke.
"Miss Shi, what’s wrong? I was just suddenly inspired to recite some poetry." Chu Feng leaned toward her. "It’s too hot. Go to the Kowloon Hotel, book a room with air conditioning, take the contract, and we’ll go there to sign it!"
Upon hearing this, Shi Wenjing was overjoyed and stopped hiding her intentions. She openly left her collar unbuttoned, smiled, and clutched the contract. "I’ll get right on it!"
"Do you know anyone who sells real estate?" Chu Feng asked.
At this, Shi Wenjing’s eyes lit up. "My close friend is a real estate agent. Are you planning on buying a house, too?"
"That is the plan." Chu Feng pulled a cigarette from his pocket and placed it between his lips.

At the Zhang family villa, Li Xueli walked into the bedroom. She was wearing a sexy camisole nightdress and black over-the-knee stockings, her entire body radiating the scent of perfume. Her gaze was seductive, and the ambient lighting in the room highlighted her enviable figure to perfection.
"Honey, it’s time for bed," Li Xueli said, biting her lip as she watched Zhang Fuqiang, who was busy with his tablet.
Zhang Fuqiang checked the time. "I didn't realize it was so late." He took off his glasses, set down the tablet, and lay down to sleep.
"Hey... how could you..."
"Next time. Work has been too tiring lately," Zhang Fuqiang said, turning his back to her.
Li Xueli felt extremely annoyed and slighted, but she couldn't say anything. Zhang Fuqiang had married her solely because she was beautiful and had a great figure, which made him look good when he took her out. As for anything else, since Zhang Fuqiang was over fifty, he was already lacking the energy for certain things.
A moment later, she went into the study, locked the door, and took an object out of a drawer. She pressed a switch, and the device began to vibrate. She didn't use it as she usually did, however. Instead, she opened her phone and found Chu Feng’s contact information. Having tasted fine grain, how could she ever settle for the coarse chaff in her hands again?
She quietly turned on her phone while also keeping the device running.
At that moment, Chu Feng was lying in a room at the Kowloon Hotel. The sound of running water came from the bathroom. There were three empty square wrappers lying nearby. A classic Hong Kong film was playing on the television. Suddenly, his phone rang.
"Hmm? Li Xueli?" Chu Feng saw the caller ID. He chose to hang up. He had no good impression of this woman. They were merely using each other now; Chu Feng was using her to get revenge on Zhang Fuqiang, and Li Xueli was using him to solidify her position in the Zhang family.
Just as he was about to toss the phone aside, a message from Li Xueli popped up: "Are you free to talk? I want to discuss something with you."
"No time, sleeping!" Chu Feng replied directly and turned off his phone.
Just then, the bathroom door opened. Shi Wenjing stepped out, wrapped in a bath towel, looking slightly annoyed. "Won't you get in trouble for not going home today?" Chu Feng asked.
Shi Wenjing climbed onto the bed and leaned into Chu Feng’s embrace. "He doesn't care whether I go home or not!"
"Your husband?"
"He's a fishing fanatic. He spends five out of every ten days fishing in the wild overnight, and the other five he doesn't come home until dawn."
"That's quite nice."
"Quite nice?"
"He fishes, I fish for you, and you fish for me," Chu Feng said, gripping her delicate shoulders.
Shi Wenjing’s face flushed red. "You villain, I didn't expect you to have so much stamina... what will we do now that you've used it all up?"
"Let's get a late-night snack in a bit, then head to a nearby convenience store and buy another box," Chu Feng said, snuffing out his cigarette.
Shi Wenjing bit her lip. "Let's just order delivery."
"Hmm?"
"Order delivery. I don't want to walk; my legs are aching," Shi Wenjing said, nestling into his chest. "We won't need to get anything else; your supplies are all gone anyway!"
"You little minx." Chu Feng used the bedside telephone to call the front desk.
Before long, a young woman in a blue jacket and a face mask arrived to deliver the food. She cast a meaningful glance at Chu Feng, and after collecting the money, she stepped outside and made a call.
"Brother Ma, it’s Xuanxuan..."
