Chapter 21: The Doggy Fishing Boat
"Tie Zhu! Activate super transformation form immediately!"
Xu Wang disregarded whether this strange dog was willing or not, unilaterally bestowing upon it the name of the guard dog kept by his relatives in his past life.
Coincidentally, that guard dog was also a Husky. The fact that his relative was eccentric enough to use a Husky as a guard dog was one of the reasons Xu Wang liked that elderly relative so much.
"Woof, woof, woof!"
Tie Zhu looked completely bewildered. Then, before its confused eyes, its normal flesh-and-blood body suddenly began to fold and contort with a series of mechanical clanks. The dog, originally the size of a medium-breed canine, rapidly expanded and transformed into a 25-meter-long, modern luxury fishing boat.
The boat was black and white, and its prow was shaped like a baffled-looking mechanical dog head. The appearance of the head was unmistakably that of the Husky that had been strutting by before being forcibly captured by Xu Wang.
"Phew... finally back to life."
Lying on the deck of the *Tie Zhu*, Xu Wang finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Woof, woof, woof! Woof, woof, woof!"
Suddenly, a series of panicked barks erupted from the bow. The hull beneath Xu Wang began to rock violently as if startled.
"Behave yourself! Keep making noise and I'll keep you like this forever, so you'll never be able to find another female dog!" Xu Wang slapped the hull.
Upon hearing this, the *Tie Zhu* immediately calmed down. Only then did Xu Wang have the chance to stand up on the stabilizing deck. He subconsciously observed the fishing boat beneath his feet. When he had been crushed to death by a fishing boat in the *Shin Godzilla* world, the speed had been too fast for him to see what the boat actually looked like. But he was certain it was not exactly like this *Tie Zhu*.
After the "Fishing Boat Enhancement" was applied to a biological organism, the result clearly possessed both mechanical and biological elements. The prow had become a toothy dog head; the propeller at the stern had turned into a steel dog tail; and the anchor had been replaced by a hooked appendage.
Discovering this, Xu Wang was incredibly glad he hadn't used this enhancement himself. Because it possessed certain biological traits, the *Tie Zhu* moved through the water with significantly more agility than other ships. The hull could even bend, much like a giant creature performing a doggy paddle in the water.
The material of the hull was similar to other fishing boats, including wood, steel, fiberglass, and aluminum alloy. Beyond that, it featured a deck, a cockpit, an engine room, gear storage, a cold-storage hold, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom—everything was there. Though none were particularly large, they were all present.
Xu Wang could guarantee that the reason this boat was so well-equipped was surely due to Tie Zhu’s high rating of 36. If he had used his own constitution of 6, he would have been lucky to get a 5-meter wooden skiff; dreaming of an alloy fishing boat with such complete equipment would have been pure fantasy.
"Woof, woof, woof!"
The giant dog head at the bow began to bark again! This time, it wasn't out of terror, but excitement! Tie Zhu suddenly realized that although it had turned into a boat, it hadn't been hurt—in fact, it had grown significantly larger! This realization inflated the Husky's ego, and it became inexplicably excited. Ignoring Xu Wang's orders, it began spinning in circles on the spot, venting the seemingly bottomless energy of a Husky.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
Xu Wang pounded on the deck railing and shouted, "Stop spinning! Go save those people in the water first!"
Though it was the first time the man and the dog had met, they shared a strange, tacit understanding. Perhaps this was the mutual appreciation of two troublemakers. Tie Zhu obediently turned and swam toward the other survivors in the river. Xu Wang stood on the deck, tossing lifebuoys toward the group. The lifebuoys were tied to the boat with ropes; once the survivors grabbed them, they could find a way to climb aboard.
Most of the people in the water were police officers, and they recognized Xu Wang, who had been causing trouble earlier. Though they didn't know where he had obtained this ship, he was, for now, their savior.
"Give me your hand."
At the railing, Xu Wang reached out to Captain Stacy, who was climbing up from the water. Captain Stacy looked up at Xu Wang, surprised that this lunatic was the one saving him. Just as he reached out with gratitude, Xu Wang quickly pulled his hand back.
Xu Wang made a face at George Stacy and patted his own rear. "Eh, I’m not pulling you! I’m just messing with you! Climb up yourself—who told you not to believe I was Captain America?"
With that, Xu Wang ran off to the cockpit, leaving a helpless Captain Stacy behind. George realized one thing: his assessment of this man was entirely correct—he was a lunatic. Despite his frustration with Xu Wang’s petty nature, Captain Stacy was still grateful. Anyone could see how many people this boat had saved. A 25-meter luxury fishing boat was more than enough to rescue all the nearby survivors; Xu Wang didn't even need to intervene personally. With such a ship present, the officers with better swimming skills could help rescue others, especially Captain Stacy, who began coordinating tasks as soon as he climbed aboard.
On the broken bridge, the battle between the four super-humans continued. Because the Hourglass Man had suddenly blown up the bridge, many victims had appeared in an instant. This caused Spider-Man and Dragonfly-Man to become distracted. They tried several times to break off from the fight to save people, only to be blocked by Dr. Lizard and the Hourglass Man. In the end, their distraction caused them to lose the upper hand.
Fortunately, thanks to whatever Xu Wang had done—transforming a Husky into a massive luxury fishing boat—he had saved over a dozen victims below in an instant. Spider-Man and Dragonfly-Man breathed a sigh of relief.
"Xu Wang! Nice work!" Peter couldn't help but cheer for Xu Wang on the river before focusing back on his enemies.
Clearly, the rookie Spider-Man had refocused a bit too late. In mid-air, the Hourglass Man suddenly fired a laser at Peter! Peter couldn't dodge in time and was struck, instantly feeling a portion of his life force being drained! A wave of intense weakness surged through him. The limp Spider-Man fell from the sky and landed with a thud right on the deck of the *Tie Zhu*!
"Awoooooo!"
Feeling like he’d been crushed, the dog head of the *Tie Zhu* let out a mournful howl to the heavens! But soon, it realized it wasn't in pain. It began spinning in circles in indignation, craning its neck to see which ill-mannered person had dropped something from the sky onto its back.
As it looked up, it locked eyes with the Lizardman on the broken bridge. Seeing the ugly creature, Tie Zhu immediately began to bark, "Woof, woof, woof!" It was cursing, and it was cursing quite foully. When it came to arguments, Tie Zhu believed it had never lost.
Dr. Lizard paid no attention to the strange fishing boat. His focus remained on the fallen Spider-Man. Seeing Spider-Man land on the deck, Dr. Lizard did not hesitate. He leaped, jumping down from the broken bridge as well!
Still cursing, Tie Zhu assumed the creature was jumping down to beat it up. It immediately lost its nerve and shoved its dog head into the water, turning into a shrinking turtle.
