Chapter 101: The Eccentric Cat Demon
Page 1/3
“Unbelievable, my friend! Not a cat demon, but... a panda demon?!”
Fu Yang and Ah Huang were utterly stunned, barely able to believe what they were seeing.
If it really was a panda that had cultivated into a spirit, should they capture it or not?
After all, pandas are a national first-class protected species and beloved by everyone. Stealing a few fish or birds hardly seemed like a serious offense.
However, upon closer inspection, the two relaxed.
It wasn’t a panda at all!
It was a chubby cat with black and white fur and two black rings around its eyes.
Its fur pattern and distribution were so strikingly similar to a giant panda, and its shape was so round and plump, that Fu Yang and Ah Huang had mistaken it for a panda at first glance...
“Damn! This thing looks way too much like a panda! And such a fat cat is a disgrace both to the feline world and the demon realm!”
Fu Yang silently cursed in his mind. He believed Ah Huang felt the same.
Meanwhile, this panda-like chubby cat suddenly made a move that left the two even more dumbfounded.
It actually stood upright on its hind legs, with its front paws clasped behind its back, pacing back and forth against the wall. Its eyes showed signs of thought and hesitation!
It was like watching a person!
“Damn, now this is what real cultivation looks like! A cat demon turning into a human demon...” Fu Yang muttered internally.
“Do you think it’s figured out our formation?”
Ah Huang frowned, worried.
Fortunately, about two minutes later, the fat cat demon on the wall moved again.
It bent its legs slightly and swung its front paws like human arms...
Suddenly, with a strong push, its round, plump body bounced up like a ball, leapt over the tall electric wire fence, and landed inside the courtyard!
After landing, it crossed its legs and pointed its front paws in a direction, striking a Michael Jackson dance pose.
“I swear, nowadays even cat demons know how to show off!”
Fu Yang’s eyes nearly popped out. This fat cat demon was disturbingly anthropomorphic.
The unfortunate thing was, it had no idea it had just fallen into a Daoist “trapping” formation...

In an instant, the situation changed!
A red glow flickered where the fat cat demon stood, and a Bagua symbol materialized on the grass.
It was the formation Fu Yang and Ah Huang had set up earlier activating!
“Xiao Yang, go! Take down this fat cat!”
Ah Huang shouted, brandishing his peach wood sword as he charged forward.
Fu Yang moved even faster, leaping ahead of Ah Huang to reach the trapping formation first.
He looked at the fat cat bound tightly by numerous red beams and exclaimed, “It’s really so fat! I’ve never seen a cat this chubby before. What has it been eating?”
“Maybe it ate some hormone-laden junk food? Or it went a little haywire while gaining intelligence and turning into a cat demon?”
Ah Huang shared his theory.
At that moment, the fat cat demon, wrapped up like a giant rice dumpling and rolling around in the formation, suddenly shouted at the two.
“Fat my ass! I’m in excellent shape. And look closely—I'm a panda. A national first-class protected animal! Let me out, or no one in heaven or earth can save you!”
Both men were completely stunned—frozen in place.
After a long moment, Fu Yang pinched his own cheek hard and stared blankly at Ah Huang: “Uh, am I hallucinating? This fat cat demon... is talking?”
Ah Huang pinched Fu Yang’s butt hard, making him jump and shout, “What the hell are you doing, you damn pervert? Pinching my ass!”
“Does it hurt?”
“Of course it does!”
“Then it’s definitely not a dream. This cat demon really can speak human language! My God, I’ve never heard of a demon spewing human words before. Only demon kings can communicate mentally with humans, but speaking human language... that’s totally mind-blowing.”
Fu Yang and Ah Huang now confirmed this cat demon could indeed speak human language.
What level of demon speaks human? Nobody knew!
But theoretically, such a being should be overwhelmingly powerful—strong enough to kill them with a single glance.
Yet the reality was...
This panda-like fat cat, aside from rolling on the grass and cursing, seemed to have no magical powers.
If it had any special skill, it was that this demon cursed with spectacularly filthy, savage, and inventive language...

“Damn right you dared to provoke Grandpa Panda! Believe me, I’ll shove a ten-pound silver carp right where the sun doesn’t shine! Damn it... you think you can play binding games with me? I’ll show you the complete Japanese bondage techniques and leave you two little brats ********! Back in the day, I was the night ruler of a hundred beauties, embodying the mighty spirit of China... uh, off-topic. You two idiots look human enough but dared to trap Grandpa Panda in a formation—I curse your X function disorder...”
Fu Yang and Ah Huang’s faces darkened, their eyes nearly sparking with fire.
Heavenly Pure Ones above!
What kind of hooligan cat demon was this?
It spewed curses and filthy jokes nonstop—it was outright sinful!
“Enough!”
Fu Yang couldn’t hold back any longer and shouted as he charged forward. He grabbed the round, plump creature and gave it a good beating. The cat wailed and cursed all the while...
“You little brat, how dare you hit Grandpa Panda... ow, ow, ow...”
Fu Yang squeezed the soft flesh on its belly hard.
“Still cursing?”
“Damn it... ah! That hurts! I won’t curse anymore, let go, kid!”
Fu Yang finally released his grip, snorted coldly: “Since you have no impressive magic or powers, and a simple Longhu Mountain trapping formation can tie you up, you’re only good at scaring ordinary folks. Anyone with a bit of Daoist skill would wipe you out instantly.”
Ah Huang added quietly: “Yeah! Especially with that filthy mouth of yours. Someone with a hot temper would probably kill this guy outright, shattering his soul.”
“Who the hell dares? Back in the day, Grandpa Panda fought the three great Daoist masters of Maoshan, Longhu, and Laoshan alone for three days and nights without losing ground...”
Alright, it was confirmed. This was a shameless, utterly narcissistic cat demon.
Fortunately, Ah Huang used his “Evil Observation Technique” and found no sins attached to it. In other words, it was still a relatively good-natured demon...
Gurgle, gurgle.
A strange sound echoed.
Both men looked at the fat cat demon, tightly bound in Fu Yang’s arms, twisting its black-and-white plump body, finally sounding a bit embarrassed: “Damn... Grandpa’s tummy is hungry again.”
Fu Yang and Ah Huang were stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter.
